Steinway & Sons Brings Curated Playlist and Content to Apply Music

Dr. Timothy Vance Blair has received awards and recognition from leading universities locally and abroad for his outstanding efforts and commitment to his career as an educator and an artist. As a retired dean of the West Chester University, Dr. Timothy V. Blair has helped the school in acquiring 111 new Steinway-designed pianos and achieving national accreditation to all the programs offered by the College of Visual and Performing Arts.

Steinway pianos are created by Steinway & Sons, an American-German company known for making high-quality pianos. Steinway pianos have been a personal favorite for some of the most celebrated pianists and musicians around the world, including David Rosenthal, Lang Lang, Harry Connick Jr., and Billy Joel. On October 26, 2018, Steinway & Sons joined the Apple Music curator program to create a playlist of new and classic performances featuring the renowned piano. The playlists are called Steinway Select, Steinway Immortals, Steinway Spirio, and Steinway Chill.

This partnership will help Steinway & Sons reach a wider audience of Apple Music listeners who will have exclusive access to a mix of classical, rhythm and blues, popular, jazz, and mood-based music content.
